Jan Bruegel called Velvet Bruegel was a Baroque Flemish painter born in 1568 and deceased in 1625 in Antwerp. He is the youngest son of Pieter Bruegel the Elder. This painting representing musical instruments is a detail of a large-format canvas entitled The sense of hearing, executed with Peter Paul Rubens between 1617 and 1618. It is displayed at the Prado Museum in Madrid.
