This painting is exhibited at the Kroller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands. Vincent Van Gogh painted it while staying in Arles in September 1888, before the arrival of Paul Gauguin. Van Gogh worked quickly and relentlessly, painting his surroundings in Arles: here, he depicted the ‘Alcazar’ cafe opposite his house.
