Claude Monet painted six works representing the park Monceau, with this perspective dating to 1876. Situated in the 8th arrondissement in Paris, the park was created at the end of the 18th century. The artist completed three views in the spring of 1876. This one, presented at the Impressionist exhibition of 1877, highlights the green grass and blossomed trees.
