Painted in 1932 by Peder Monsted, this work entitled An Autumn Day at Kastellet takes us to the peaceful atmosphere of Kastellet Park, an historic fortress located in Copenhagen. The Danish artist expertly captures the colors of fall. You will be charmed by the harmony of green, yellow and russet leaves falling around the pond while swans glide along on the calm waters.
