This painting was made by Bruegel the Young and is displayed at the Fine Arts Museum of Lille. Bruegel transposes a biblical scene to his time and depicts XVI-century farming life in great detail. On the left, a pig is being slaughtered. In the background, alcohol is served at the foot of a tree and children are playing. All this activity is backdropped by a snowy landscape.
