Completed some time around 1426, this famous Annunciation by the Italian painter Guido di Pietro, better known under the pseudonym Fra Angelico, is an alterpiece created for the church of the monastery of San Domenico in Fiesole, near Florence. The work associates Gothic opulence and novelty in perspective. It is conserved at the Prado museum in Madrid.
