Ivan Choultsé (1874-1939) was a Russian artist, naturalized French in 1927. He was famous for his depictions of snowy landscapes in the Swiss Alps, where he perfectly captured the light, the atmosphere and the serenity. The round cut highlights the cotton-like feel of the snow.
