Van Gogh settled in Auvers-sur-Oise in 1890 where he spent the last months of his life. He painted numerous canvases there, including this famous work of the church in Auvers which can be admired at the Orsay museum. The cut follows the curvy lines and fluid brushstrokes of the painter.
