This work of Paul Signac, made up of small touches of juxtaposed colors, is typical of the Pointillist movement. The artist who painted the French coast at large, discovered Capo di Noli in Italy near Genova during a walking excursion from Saint-Tropez. The work is conserved at the Wallraf-Richartz museum in Cologne, Germany.
