ADULTS WOODEN JIGSAW
900 PIECES
Description
Hand-cut art wooden jigsaw puzzle of circa 900 pieces - Made in France and environmentally friendly.
Allegory of Sight is a painting by Jan Brueghel the Elder and Pierre Paul Rubens, dating from around 1617. This work, which can be seen at the Prado Museum in Madrid, forms part of The Five Senses series of paintings. In this rich setting, Cupid shows Venus a painting depicting The Healing of a Blind Man. Several works by Rubens are depicted, such as a Bacchanalia in the foreground and, in the background, The Tiger Hunt, painted shortly before this painting.
You will thoroughly enjoy exploring all the references to sight, emerging piece by piece! The cut of this puzzle highlights both the composition, which opens onto a luminous landscape, and its countless details: globes, busts, and scientific instruments.
