Hand-cut art wooden jigsaw puzzle of circa 1000 pieces - Made in France and environmentally friendly.

Painted in 1600, this work depicts a lively Flemish fair, symbolizing a hope for lasting peace. Unlike his father who depicted such festive events as places of madness and vice, Jan Bruegel, also known as Velvet Bruegel, crafted gatherings that were joyful yet temperate. This work is part of the Royal Collection of the United Kingdom.

If you love animated scenes populated with characters as much as landscapes, this puzzle is for you! While a small crowd gathers in the foreground, a group further away is dancing to the sound of bagpipes and children to the left are following a jester. Once the party scenes have been put together and brought to life, the tall trees and landscape details will add some challenge to assembling the puzzle!
