Description

Michèle Wilson jigsaw puzzles are playful, educational, and designed with children in mind :
Claude Monet loved Japan! He never went there, but he collected Japanese prints. He built this bridge in his garden in Giverny, over the pond where he planted water lilies. He painted it more than 40 times! In MonetÂ’s garden, this bridge is actually painted in green... if it had been a real Japanese bridge, it would have been painted red! This one is very famous, but several other bridges span this basin, which was expanded shortly after this painting. The trees - weeping willows - are reflected in the water. Do you know why Claude Monet painted the water green?

This puzzle is unique! It has been cut by hand, so the number of pieces can vary slightly. Our puzzles are eco-friendly and made from wood from renewable forests
